Conditions and practical information
Registration & Play
Competitors must register at least 30 minutes prior to their round 1 starting time as shown on the official draw sheet. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering at the Championship Office.

Competitors will play two rounds on Sunday 27 March. The draw for Sunday’s play will be made at the conclusion of play on Saturday 26 March.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival at the first tee will result in disqualification as no provision has been made under Rule 6-3.

CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST NOT SEEK OR ACCEPT ADVICE FROM PARENTS, OTHER COMPETITORS OR ANY OTHER PERSON. NB. "Advice" is any counsel or suggestion that could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke.

Clubhouse
Competitors and their guests may use the clubhouse facilities. The dress code is smart casual. The wearing of jeans, denim trousers, shorts, sleeveless of collarless shirts and training shoes is not permitted. Shoes worn on the golf course may not be worn in the clubhouse.

MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE CLUBHOUSE, CAR PARK AND ON THE COURSE

Catering
Catering will be available in the clubhouse over the weekend. All catering will be at competitors own expense. Players are not permitted to purchase alcoholic drinks or play on the gambling machines.

Etiquette
In the interests of all, each competitor should play without delay, leave a bunker as he would expect to find it, replace divots and repair pitch marks.
Practice Rounds & Practice Facility Practice rounds will be offered to competitors only for £10 subject to availability. Please call the Professional Shop on t: 01241 875837.

Arbroath Golf Links have a driving range; tokens are available for purchase from the Professional Shop.

Presentation
There will be no official prize presentation. Vouchers will be forwarded to the leading 3 players.

Responsibility
Arbroath Golf Links, Arbroath Golf Club and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of players’ property during the event.

Rules
The event will be played under the R&A rules of golf and the Local Rules of the golf club as determined by the SGU Events Committee. The SGU reserve the right to over rule any club local rule and the use of electronic measuring devices is prohibited.

Trolley’s, Caddies & Yardage Books
A limited number of trolley’s are available for hire on a first come first served basis. Yardage books are also available for purchase from the Professional's shop.

Scorecards
Scorecards will be provided by the SGU and must be returned to the SGU Championship Mobile Office immediately after play.
